By Tube

County Hall is located within easy walking distance from several London Underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster.

 

Waterloo is the closest tube station to the County Hall. Waterloo is about five minutes walking distance. Exit the station following signs for the South Bank.

By Rail

The closest rail stations to the County Hall are Waterloo and Charing Cross.


Waterloo is the closest rail station to the County Hall. Waterloo is about five minutes walking distance; take exit six for the South Bank and follow the signs.


Charing Cross is about a fifteen minute walk to the County Hall. Cross over Hungerford Bridge.

By Bus

Buses to the County Hall include the 211, 77 and 381.

 

 

 

 

 





By Coach

If you are bringing a group by coach or by disabled minibus, you will need to book a coach parking bay in advance of your arrival.
This service is free, but space is limited. Your booking gives you twenty minutes to drop off and pick up your group. You are not permitted to use the coach parking bays whilst your group visits the Building.




By Car

Driving to County Hall may be challenging due to our central London location. Usually, it is quicker and easier to take public transport to reach the building. If you do need to drive, there are three car parks within walking distance located around the South Bank area.


Please note that the County Hall is within the Congestion Charge Zone.




By Boat

You can also navigate to the building by river. There are a number of services which stop off at the Millennium Pier, meaning you can travel here from the O2 or the Millbank, Bankside, Embankment, Blackfriars, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Hilton Docklands, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, Royal Arsenal Woolwich, St. Katherine's or Westminster Piers.
